OmniSat-3 GOES Transmitter
Signal Engineering’s OmniSat-3 GOES Transmitter is NESDIS GOES Version 2 DCPR certified for 300bps and 1200bps.
The OmniSat-3 is Signal Engineering's universal hardware design which supports other Meteorological satellites using
targeted firmware. For GOES users, the OmniSat-3 provides a smooth transition for 100bps users to
the mandated NESDIS transmission at 300bps or 1200bps channels. The Transmitter supports both Timed and Random Reporting protocols.

Modern State of the Art Design
OmniSat-3 is designed for high reliability and long service life. Users will benefit from the
all-digital generation of the transmit Root-Raised Cosine filter and phase modulation ensuring time and temperature stability.
Monitoring of forward and reflected RF power at the Omnisat-3's antenna port allows quick assessment of site health.
The OmniSat-3's internal time keeping and transmit frequencies are synchronized to the embedded GPS receiver which ensures long service intervals.
Low standby current consumption places less demand on battery powered systems at remote DCP installation sites.
